Knoxville Police Academy here I come! I've just sent off my signed paperwork (contract) for the KPD academy which lasts about 6 months. I will be documenting my experience hopefully bi-weekly once it starts, which should be sometime in June or July. While I am no author, I feel like this will not only help those who maybe thinking about joining, but also serve as a stress reliever for me, as I am told that I WILL need an outlet from the stresses of the academy. Something that I can feel as an escape (and I'm told writing can often do that). I am beyond excited to start this new career and can only count down the days until it begins! This being my first post I feel that my next one should be about the process one would take to applying and if you even qualify. That's for another day.
